These terms apply to your use of the Church of Christ, Todd's Road website (toddsroadcoctt.org) and its Bible Reader. By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

What the service is

The website shares information about our congregation. The Bible Reader is a free study tool that lets you read Scripture in several translations, look up commentaries, dictionaries and cross-references, make notes, and, if you sign in, save highlights. It is provided free of charge by the congregation.

Your account

• You can use the Bible Reader without an account. An account is only needed to keep highlights across devices.
• Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think your account has been misused.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Please use the service respectfully and lawfully. Do not:

• try to break, overload, scrape in bulk, or gain unauthorised access to the site, its accounts or its data;
• use the service to harass others or to post unlawful or harmful content (for example in tags or notes that you share);
• copy the Bible Reader's software or data to build a competing or commercial service without permission.

We may suspend or remove access to anyone who misuses the service.

Scripture, reference works and copyright

Most translations, commentaries and dictionaries in the Bible Reader are in the public domain. The New King James Version is displayed through a third-party service (bolls.life) for personal reading and is never stored by us; it remains the property of its copyright holder. Some reference text comes from third-party sources and remains subject to their terms. Our own pages, design and software are © Church of Christ, Todd's Road.

Your content

Your highlights, tags and notes belong to you. You give us permission to store the highlights and tags you save to your account so that we can show them back to you. Notes stay on your own device.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for accuracy, but we do not guarantee that translations, commentaries or definitions are free of error, or that the service will always be available or uninterrupted. Commentaries and dictionaries reflect the views of their authors and are study aids, not a substitute for the Scriptures or for your own study and judgement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the congregation and those who maintain this service are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Privacy

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date above when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
